By using the Celebs Kingdom website (“the Site,” “we”), operated by the operators of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

Celebs Kingdom is a reference and browsing site about public figures - birthdays, death dates, biographical summaries, photographs, occupations, countries, and related-people information. The Site does not create this content itself: it aggregates and republishes data and media that are already published under open licenses by the Wikipedia and Wikidata communities and on Wikimedia Commons (see Section 3 below for the specifics that matter if you plan to reuse anything from this Site).

Text. Biographical text and short descriptions displayed on person pages are sourced from Wikipedia and Wikidata articles and are used and displayed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Each person page links back to the original Wikipedia article it was sourced from and to the license itself, as that license requires.

Images and signatures. Photographs and signature images are sourced from Wikimedia Commons. Unlike the article text, images on Commons are contributed under a variety of different licenses (for example various Creative Commons licenses, or public-domain dedications) and different attribution requirements, set individually by each image’s uploader/rights holder. Where available, we display the specific author, license, and usage terms for each photo and signature through the “Photo info”/“Info” button shown under that image - please check that panel before reusing any specific image, rather than assuming the same terms apply site-wide.

No affiliation. Celebs Kingdom is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikipedia, Wikidata, or Wikimedia Commons, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the individuals whose public, openly-licensed data is displayed on the Site.

Your responsibility when reusing content. If you download, copy, or otherwise reuse any text or image from this Site, compliance with the underlying license (attribution, share-alike, and any other condition it imposes) is your own responsibility as the downstream user - we display the credit and license information we have, but we do not grant you any broader rights than the original license already provides.

Content on the Site is drawn from community-edited, publicly-sourced data. It may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. Celebs Kingdom makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information, image, or date shown on the Site. If you notice an error or have a correction, please let us know via the Contact page.

You agree not to: use automated means to scrape or bulk-download the Site in a manner that places unreasonable load on it (this does not apply to official search engines and approved bots/crawlers, such as those used to index the Site or serve the advertisements described in our Privacy Policy); attempt to circumvent any security or access-control measure; use the Site to harass, defame, or violate the rights of any individual; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

The Site’s design, layout, original code, and any original text we author ourselves (as opposed to the third-party Wikipedia/Wikidata/Commons content described in Section 3) are the property of the Site’s operators. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you.

The Site may display third-party advertisements (see our Privacy Policy for details on advertising and cookies) and may link to external websites, including Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site’s operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Israel.
