Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Celebs Kingdom (“the Site,” “we”) collects when you use the Site, why, and the choices available to you. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to (including Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons), which have their own privacy policies.
2. Information you provide to us
If you use the Contact form or the “Suggest a Celebrity” form, we collect the information you submit - your name, and, depending on the form, your message, an optional email address, and the suggested celebrity’s name and your note about them. We use this solely to respond to you and to review/act on your suggestion, and do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. The Site itself does not set or use any first-party cookies, and all data usage and tracking for advertising are handled entirely by Google. You can read more about how Google uses this data at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites and manage your ad-personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.
3a. Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK (GDPR): In compliance with the GDPR and UK privacy laws, the Site utilizes a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP). Visitors from these regions can manage, customize, or withdraw their consent for advertising cookies at any time by clicking the privacy settings link provided on the Site or through the choices in the consent banner.
3b. Visitors from the United States (U.S. State Privacy Laws): In accordance with U.S. state privacy laws (including the CCPA), visitors from applicable states have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information for targeted advertising. You can exercise this right at any time by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link provided automatically by Google on the Site.
Beyond what your browser and hosting infrastructure log by default (e.g. standard web server access logs used for security), the Site does not operate any first-party analytics tracking.
4. Data retention
Contact-form and suggestion submissions are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your message or evaluate your suggestion, after which they may be deleted.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you’ve submitted to us (for example, through the Contact form) by reaching out via the Contact page. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the GDPR or similar regional privacy laws).
6. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
8. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests regarding your personal information, can be sent via the Contact page.
