Salvador Dalí i Domènech (Figueres, 1904 - 1989). Artista i pintor. Màxim exponent del surrealisme i considerat un geni de la pintura. Va ser amic de Lorca i Buñuel, amb qui va filmar Un chien andalou. Conegut de Picasso, Man Ray i Breton, el seu estil, extravagant i oníric, va influir en bona part del món artístic i intel·lectual de l'època, tant d'Europa com dels Estats Units, on va residir-hi una bona temporada.

Las obras fueron presentadas en la exposición Iberia 72 ante numerosas autoridades, representantes de los medios de comunicación y directivos de Iberia. 15 de noviembre de 1972. Presentation of two Dalí paintings, Ampurdán Shepherd and The Winged Mermaid of the Costa Brava, which decorated Iberia DC-10's, turning them into flying modern art museums. The works were presented in the Iberia 72 exposition by various dignitaries, the press, and Iberia executives. November 15, 1972. Presentazione dei due quadri di Salvador Dali "Ampurdán Shepherd" e "La sirena della Costa Brava alato", che decoravano la Iberia DC-10 trasformandoli in alati musei di arte contemporanea. I lavori sono stati presentati il 15 NOVEMBRE 1972. Présentation de deux peintures du peinture Salvador Dalí, qui ont décoré les DC-10 d'Iberia, en les convertissant en musées d'art contemporains. Les oeuvres furent exposées lors de l'exposition Iberia à 72 grandes autorités, représentants des médias et directeurs Iberia. 15 novembre 1972.
