Roddy Piper bodyslamming Cyndi Lauper's manager, David Wolff, during a wrestling angle centered around an award presentation at Madison Square Garden on December 28, 1984. As the storyline went, Dick Clark was there to present an award to the people responsible for creating "The Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection". Piper crashed the event and proceeded to smash the award over Lou Albano's head, then kicked Lauper before bodyslamming Wolff. Both Albano and Lauper are seen here lying on the mat. Clark is seen at right, kneeling down to check on Lauper. Next to him is possibly Jack Tunney, the storyline president of the World Wrestling Federation. Clark soon after beat a hasty retreat from the ring. This was all concocted as one of the series of events leading to the first WrestleMania.
