National token of Wales that was presented to Princess Alexandra upon her wedding in 1863; at centre of token, image of leek on ground of diamonds; three pendants beneath, representing St David, the dragon of Wales, and the arms of Wales; surmounted token a bouquet of trefoil, oak, wheat and mistletoe, emblematic of the four seasons, with the Welsh motto which translates: "From South Wales to their Princess'; above this is the bracelet, also given to the Princess, with an emerald set in diamonds.
