Quotes

The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the pain.

Oprah Magazine (2004)

Life is funny. Life isn't categorized into comedy, drama, action, is it? So I don't know why they try to categorize everything. It drives me crazy—why it would have to be just a romantic comedy or … I want to have a little integrity, a little story, you know?

Primetime interview in January 2004

I think there comes a point where you have to grow up and get over yourself, lighten up...and forgive.

In front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, my favorite Greek Goddess Jennifer Aniston left Her handprints in July 2011. One is truly a first-rate Hollywood star when s/he can leave handprints here, so I am very happy for Her.

Looking toward the Financial District, from my vantage point near the Civic Center Plaza. It is the Pride weekend - rainbow flags are everywhere along Market Street. The parade is the next day. I am in San Francisco explicitly for the Pride festivities, and this is my first-ever visit to a major city LGBT Pride event. And of course, I love the SmartWater ad poster featuring none other than my favorite Greek Goddess, Jennifer Aniston. I consider Aniston to be an "honorary lesbian" due to Her strong friendships with lesbians, in particular Sapphic rock goddess Melissa Etheridge, who was Aniston's wedding singer and remains best friends. Additionally, Aniston's high school best friend, Chaz Bono, went on to first become a lesbian activist before further coming out as a transgender man.
