David Stewart and Marion Kay, both born inPerthshire, Scotland, the former May 13th, and thelatter November 20, 1791, were married at Thorn-hill, by the Rev. John Summers, December 16,1818. Their home from their marriage till they cameto America was on a farm called Achensalt. Alltheir children, nine in number, were born in Scot-land.
