A plaque (right) dedicated in 2018 honoring Joni Mitchell and her Saskatoon upbringing and early professional years there, on Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 1962, she played her first professional performance at the Louis Riel coffeehouse that once stood at 721 Broadway Avenue. The plaque sits on the sidewalk alongside the awning and entrance of the Broadway Theatre, at 715 Broadway Avenue, which has its own plaque on the wall (left).
