This is Brentford FC playing Premiership team Chelsea in a 3rd Round Replay of the 2013 FA Cup. Having secured a 2-2 draw at home 8 days earlier we earned the right to play them at their home ground of Stamford Bridge. The home game earned us £350000 pounds in gate receipts and TV money but this game was worth £750000 to us, which to a small third tier team like us was a small fortune. After a goalless first-half, the wheels came off and would lose 4-0 but after drawing with us with a less than full strength team they did at least put out all their world-class players and their superiority showed in the end. Great day out and a performance to be proud of.
